The largest Romanian discount chain, Penny Market (including Penny Market XXL), openend its 117th store in Corabia, Olt county. The new shop area is counting 1230 m², with 760 m² sales area and 470 m² dedicated for social spaces and warehouses, while the customers’ parking has a capacity of 46 seats.
For 2011, Rewe Romania plans on expanding its Romanian chain by another 20 stores. Penny Market is the successful concept of the German-based Rewe Group and entered the Romanian market in 2005, currently being one of the most active retailers in Romania.
