Mr Michael Kaiser has been appointed Procurement & Merchandising Director Non Food METRO Cash & Carry Romania, as succesor of Mr Laurenţiu Petre.
Mr Michael Kaiser started his career within METRO GROUP in April 1998 and changed in July 1999 as Assortment Marketing Manager Non Food to METRO Cash & Carry Germany, followed by the position Category Manager Non Food in April 2000. He was appointed Head of Merchandising METRO Cash & Carry International in October 2005 and promoted to Procurement & Merchandising Director Non Food METRO Cash & Carry Ukraine in January 2006; from November 2009, he took over the position of Offer Management Director METRO Cash & Carry Ukraine.
In the same time, Mr Laurenţiu Petre took over new responsibilities as Regional Non Food Manager for Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Moldova, Bulgaria, Serbia
