German Group REWE, one of the most important and active retailers on the European market, is represented in Romania by Penny Market and Penny Market XXL.
On 17th May 2012 Penny Market Romania opened the 125th store, in Huedin. The store is located on 36 Horea Street, with a sale area of 720 m2 and 69 parking spaces. The new store will offer customers a wide range of products covering all daily needs, a wide assortment of their own brands, both national and international quality products at very favorable prices.
Rewe Romania has created – so far – more than 2,600 jobs, and following the store opening of Huedin 15 additional jobs were created at a local level.
REWE Group is among the European leaders in the food trade, and is currently present in Germany, Austria, Italy, Ukraine, Hungary, Russia, the Czech Republic and Bulgaria.
