Kaufland Romania will create 1.000 new jobs in all the country, until the current financial year, in February 2021.

The retailer extended its network in Romania with a new hypermarket, opened in Botosani and reached 133 stores at national level.
Flanco Romania, the Romanian company present on the local market since 1994, opened, in partnership with Kaufland Romania, the first shop-in-shop store in the Kaufland network.
Starting from August, Auchan encouraged clients to actively contribute at reducing food waste and protecting environment by getting involved in the project „Zero Waste”. Until 22nd of September, in Auchan stores and on the new online store www.auchan.ro will be over 2.500 back to school products necessary for starting the school year.
Mega Image continued to integrate in the local community life in Oradea and opened the second store in this city after the first one was opened in May.
Lidl continued investment in Romania through opening two new stores on 13th of August: one in Gherla, Cluj district, that owns a charging stations for electric cars, and one in Marghita, Bihor district. Lidl Romania invited the community to support the teacher training from Teach for Romania programs.

PENNY goes to online sales and with Auto Total company support launched Lyvra, the service for online orders with home delivery. Rewe Romania operates now 264 PENNY stores in Romania.
