Carrefour Romania continued the program „We put price on the plastic” and launched the Payment with the PET in 6 cities in the country. The retailer launched Green Sunday and proposed to Romanians a new tradition on Sundays> a responsible consume of resources, based on reduction, reusing and recycling.

On the occasion of the event „Your Business Day”, METRO supported 15.500 businesses in Romania to be closer to their clients with special offers and novel events. The retailer, in collaboration with Microgreens Romania, brought in METRO Baneasa store, the first intelligent microgreenhouse for ecologic increase of aromatic plants, in order to put at the disposition of HoReCa clients fresh ingredients.

Cupio, one of the most representative brands on the market of professional products for manicure, make-up and personal care, opened the 13th store in Bucovina. Also it opened a store in Cluj-Napoca.

All of the 33rd Auchan hypermarkets in Romania will include collection point of used food oil from the clients, to be recycled and used in biofuel production.
