KFC Romania launched in a completely new way the new series #pebune – The CROPPERS, the fourth own brand production from the concept platform Social Entertainment Channel.

Premier Restaurants Romania, the the operator of the McDonald’s restaurants network in Romania, opened the 85th restaurant in Bucharest, at Progresul Market. On 9th of June 2020 took place the online expo-conference Retail and e-Commerce in a new impactful era, an event that is part of Virtualized series, the first concept of online expo-conferences in Romania organised on its own software platform, launched by UNIVERSUM.

eMAG launched eMAG Genius, a premium service through which members can do unlimited shopping with quick and free delivery and other exclusive benefits. eMAG made an important move in sales channels diversification abroad and opened its first showroom outside Romania, in Hungary.

From 9th of June 2020, Bringo brought the personalized online shopping experience in 5 new cities and reached a network of 29 cities in all the country. Bringo launched the click&collect service, that allows clients to pick up shopping from a Carrefour store, without walking through the districts. From 25th of June 2020, Bringo became available in 6 new cities: Resita, Giurgiu, Oltenita, Deva, Campulung and Targu Mures.

On the background of the crisis generated by COVID-19 and by isolation period, the online retail sales of physical products registered significant increases, and at the final of 2020 will be with 28% bigger than in 2019.
